Thanh Hoa to take initiative in producing and hatching aquatic fingerlings (11-06-2018)
At present, aquaculture hatcheries in the Thanh Hoa province have been active in producing and hatching billions of aquatic fingerlings for aquaculture in the province.
Up to now, the province has 44 freshwater fish hatcheries with the capacity of 900 million fingerlings and 3 salt and brackish water hatcheries with the capacity of 50 million tiger shrimp fingerlings, 17 million white shrimp fingerlings, 1 million crab fingerlings, 100 million Pacific oyster fingerlings, ten thousand goby fingerlings, 300 million clam fingerlings... In addition, the hatcheries produce 650 million tiger shrimp fingerlings and white shrimp fingerlings; green crab fingerlings, snakehead fingerlings, anabas fingerlings to serve farmers in the province. In order to have the best spring - summer crop and successfully implement the aquaculture plan in 2018, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has focused on directing the production and supply of high quality and seasonal fingerlings with reasonable prices; to continue management of the production and trading of fingerlings and aquaculture for organizations and individuals engaged in the production and trading of fingerlings, feeds, preventive and anti-disease drugs for the aquatic species.
