Outstanding Events at “VIETFISH 2022” Will Take Place on August 24, 2022 (18-10-2022)
Within the framework of the Vietnam International Fisheries Expo 2022 (VIETFISH 2022), the Directorate of Fisheries (D-FISH) will coordinate with the Vietnam Fisheries Association (VINAFIS) to organize the seminar “Market trends for aquaculture products”.
The location is the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), which is located at 799 Nguyen Van Linh Street in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The time is 13:30 on August 24, 2022. The Chairman is the leader of the Directorate of Fisheries. 80 delegates from relevant departments of the Directorate of Fisheries, the Institute of Aquaculture 1, 2, and 3, the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development in the provinces and cities, the Sub-Department of Aquaculture, the Department of Aquaculture, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the Vietnam Fisheries Association (VINAFIS), the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ), and seafood businesses are expected to attend.
The "Aquaculture Product Market Trends" seminar program is expected to have two sessions.
Session 1 - Aquaculture Product Market Trends
The Department of Aquaculture Directorate of Fisheries will present on "Development Trends of Aquaculture in Vietnam and the World". Next, the "Market trends for aquaculture products" presentation will then be made by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP). Additionally, at session 1, a representative of ASEAN Seafood Improvements Collaborative (ASIC) presented on "Market opportunities in sustainable farming practices for small-scale producers," a representative of ASEAN Seafood Improvements Collaborative (ASIC) presented on "Application of SFW digital technology in product development," and a representative of Seafood Watch presented on "Application of SFW digital technology in product development."
Session 2 - Market trends in the context of global integration
Buyers are anticipated as guests at the seminar, which will be presided over by representatives of the Directorate of Fisheries, VASEP, and ICAFIS.
