15000 sets of certificates of origin of goods exported to countries in the EU (25-12-2020)
These number of certificates of origin of goods exported to 28 countries in the EU (C/O) formed EUR.1 has been granted by some authorized organizations since the EVFTA came into force.
The products with C/O formed EUR.1 are mainly footwear, fishery products, plastics and plastic products, coffee, textiles, bags, suitcases, vegetables, handcrafted products, agricultural products, and electronics with the turnover of nearly 700 million USD. The import market concludes a large number of countries with seaports, distribution centers, and transfer centers in the EU such as Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, and United Kingdom. In particular, many shipments have come to the EU market, passed and recieved incentives. Beside the interest with this market of the business, this also shows this market’s importance to Vietnam's exports as well.
Regarding August 2020 only, Vietnam’s export turnover to the EU market reached 3.25 billion USD, increased by 4.65% compared to July 2020; increased by 4.2% compared to the same period in 2019. As a result, the export turnover from Vietnam to the EU market reached 22.76 billion USD, which showed an increase of nearly 500 million USD compared to the average amount of the first 7 months of the year (the average amount of 7 months is 2.79 billion USD). In September 2020, the number of products exported to this market continued to increase sharply (increasing by 14.4%). Vietnam export has many positive changes in the EU market after nearly 2 months of EVFTA implementation. Typically, from the beginning of August until now, fishery exports have increased by about 10% compared to July; export turnover to the EU market increased by 1.7% compared to the same period in 2019. In particular, shrimp exports in August 2020 increased by 15.7% (reaching its growth peak since the beginning of this year).
