Activities to celebrate the 62ndanniversary of the Vietnam Fisheries Industry's traditional day in Ba Ria and Vung Tau (April 1, 1959- April 1, 2021) (25-05-2021)
In order to propagate to people and civil servants in the industry about the purpose and significance of the Vietnamese fisheries sector's traditional day. At the same time, increase the density of overexploited aquatic organisms by regenerating, restoring, conserving, and developing existing aquatic resources. As a result, ecological equilibrium is restored, and species populations in water bodies are stabilized. The activity also aims to encourage organizations and individuals to introduce responsible aquaculture, strictly adhere to state legislation, and contribute to achieving the fisheries sector's long-term growth goals.
On April 1, 2021, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province collaborated with other industries, unions, and localities to coordinate the release of regenerated breed fish and establish aquatic resources, releasing 7,000 fingerlings of various species such as grouper, yellow-fin bird, seabass, tiger prawn, and 100kg snakehead fish and anabas to places such as Tau Khong Monument Area, Phuoc Thuan commune, Xuyen Moc district, Mui Giui river, Long Son commune, Vung Tau city; Quang Trung lake and An Hai lake in Con Dao district, the total cost for the organization of stocking and regenerating aquatic resources is nearly 176 million VND, deducted from the provincial budget.
In addition to fishing activities, the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector, as well as local People's Committees, have promoted the 62nd anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Fisheries Industry (April 1, 1959 - April 1, 2021) with a number of photographs. the mode of operation as speakers, radio, etc with the contents: Raise awareness and sense of responsibility of organizations and individuals in the conservation, preservation, restoration, and creation of aquatic resources; mobilize the whole population to engage in the protection, recovery, and regeneration of aquatic resources
