Hai Duong province: Fisheries Association encourages members to practice VietGAP in aquaculture (27-11-2017)
In 2016, Hai Duong province had 10,965 hectares of fish culture, with production yield was at 69,073 tons, and 2,944 cages, bringing almost 6,000 tons of fish.
The province had 3,400 hectares of concentrated model, of which 2,000 hectares of intensive farming at average productivity of 9 to 10 tons per hectare. The provincial Fisheries Association has actively participated in encouraging association’s members in mobilizing towards cooperative and large scale model, following local’s plan and applying VietGAP standard in aquaculture activities.
