Fishery production in April was estimated at 689.8 thousand tons, up 5.7% over the same period last year, of which fish reached 520 thousand tons, up 5.8%; shrimp reached 68.2 thousand tons, up 5.2%; other aquatic products reached 101.6 thousand tons, up 5.5%.
Aquaculture production in April was estimated at 348.4 thousand tons, up 6% over the same period last year, of which fish reached 255.1 thousand tons, up 5.5%; shrimp reached 56 thousand tons, up 7.5%; other aquatic products reached 37.3 thousand tons, up 7.2%.

In the first 4 months of the year, fishery production was estimated at 2,156.5 thousand tons, up 5.1% over the same period last year, of which aquaculture production reached 994.6 thousand tons, up 5, 3%; output of capture products reached 1,161.9 thousand tons, increasing by 4.9% (the production of marine capture reached 1,111.6 thousand tons, up 5.2%).
