Within two months, more than 600 fishing vessels in Quynh Luu are registered (10-07-2018)
From the end of April to the beginning of June 2018, Nghe An Sub-department of fisheries has registered 614/730 vessels in the area of Quynh Luu district.
According to the data of Nghe An Sub-department of Fisheries, within one month (from the end of April to the beginning of June 2018), the sub-department has set up three groups to go to the coastal communes of Quynh Luu district and to co-ordinate with the local authorities and the Border Guard Station to register and license fishermen’s vessels.
In localites, the Sub-department of Fisheries has propagated and mobilized fishermen to bring favorable conditions to the groups to deploy the registration. As a result, after one month, the groups has registered and licensed 614/730 vessels in below communes of Quynh Luu district: Tien Thuy, Quynh Long, Quynh Thuan, Quynh Ngoc, Quynh Tho, Son Hai and An Hoa.
In order to ensure the safety of fishing vessels for fishermen, in the coming time, Nghe An Sub-department of Fisheries will continue to cooperate with local authorities and Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station to propagate and mobilize fishermen to anchor the vessels and facilitate the registration and quality inspection of 100% vessels of the competent authorities.
