Promoting research for the marine culture in Vietnam (17-07-2019)
This is the instruction of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong at the visit to the marine fish farming demonstration farm of the Research Institute for Aquaculture No.1.
On the morning of July 12, Minister Nguyen Xuan Cuong and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development delegation examined the preparations for a large-scale practical deployment of yellow fin pompano. This is a farming object that has been successfully researched and raised by the Research Institute for Aquaculture No.1 in the waters of Van Phong bay, Khanh Hoa province.
Up to now, the Research Institute for Aquaculture No.1 has completed a closed process from producing breeds, farming process, feed production chain to cage culture technology and ready to transfer to farmers. To serve the strategy of marine aquaculture, besides yellow fin pompano, many other farming objects have been assigned by MARD to the Research Institute for Aquaculture No.1 as well as other scientific centers of the Ministry coordinates with local businesses to implement in the future.
